The supporters of PACHULA FC booed when Santa Paola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natalio Vela didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leo Nuñez hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. A collision led to PACHULA FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Justino Seguinus hit a great ball. Geronimo Eleazar was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Carlos Mergildo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 27 minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Zhu Jing Kun in the 36th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by PACHULA FC's Justino Seguinus. After 36 played minutes Santa Paola got a freekick which was hit by Damian Alvarez. Eloy Arnas struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Geronimo Eleazar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PACHULA FC. Gavino Urbes charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gavino Urbes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 47th match minute, Santa Paola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gavino Urbes to maneuver through the defense. Geronimo Eleazar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eloy Arnas in the 48th minute. In the 49th minute PACHULA FC were awarded a corner. Leo Nuñez went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Leo Nuñez almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Santa Paola's Geronimo Eleazar did a great save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Natalio Vela stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Santa Paola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zhu Jing Kun to maneuver through the defense. 60 minutes into the game, Honorato Montel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santa Paola's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PACHULA FC the free kick. When Leo Nuñez came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the PACHULA FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leo Nuñez couldn't finish the play. Inocencio Caetano came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Santa Paola's Damian Alvarez. But to his dismay, Damian Alvarez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Mergildo in the 78th minute of play forced Santa Paola's goalkeeper Geronimo Eleazar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eloy Arnas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Natalio Vela couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Eloy Arnas managed to get in a good position for a shot. PACHULA FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eloy Arnas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geronimo Eleazar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 99 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Santa Paola! Santa Paola's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
