Rogelio Guillem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rosendo Jokin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Huascha FC's Gaston Pepillo got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. independiente-de-mardel's Saturnino Kemen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save independiente-de-mardel from getting a goal against them. Saturnino Kemen made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Gaston Pepillo sent off a good shot on target. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gaston Pepillo was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Rosendo Jokin managed to get in a good position for a shot. independiente-de-mardel's supporters rose to their feet, but Rosendo Jokin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rogelio Guillem breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rosendo Jokin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
