Baldomero Oinatz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los 11 del Muñeco. Gregorio Laffitte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 25 minutes into the game, Los 11 del Muñeco's Cornelio Gartzea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baldomero Oinatz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 49th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Mismos De Siempre 73's goalkeeper Baldomero Oinatz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half Los 11 del Muñeco were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Gregorio Laffitte made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Los Mismos De Siempre 73 getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Roque Otsando hit a great ball. Hilario Bizi was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 53rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.
