Augusto Handi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Placido Lucero, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Guzmán's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ezequiel Bidun was slow to take the kick. During this time Puchuzún's players had a chance to rest. Vinicio Niguel made a great header on Puchuzún's corner, it was just that Guzmán's Augusto Handi managed to reach the ball for a save. Cipriano Quin scored 0-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Augusto Handi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Augusto Handi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Quin in the 37th minute of play. Cipriano Quin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute Placido Lucero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Handi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cipriano Quin might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Augusto Handi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cipriano Quin ran back to his position shaking his head. Placido Lucero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Augusto Handi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teofilo Celipe was the one to do the kick off. Cipriano Quin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cayetano Galtero blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marciano Pelagius having to make a save. If Placido Lucero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 57th play minute Cipriano Quin came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Augusto Handi. 0-2. 60 minutes in the game, Placido Lucero fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Augusto Handi having to interfere. Cipriano Quin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 70 played minutes Guzmán got a freekick which was hit by Denis Aires. Augusto Handi was out of position in the 73 minute of play, and Placido Lucero capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Placido Lucero really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. If Placido Lucero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Celestino Perpinya during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. But to his dismay, Cipriano Quin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. With a little luck, Guzmán's Augusto Handi got control of the ball when Cipriano Quin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cipriano Quin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Handi having to interfere. If Placido Lucero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
