The referee ignored ChosenFive FC's protests and gave Silverio Mendiko a yellow card for diving instead. Silverio Confesor made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 15th minute, Diamantino Macedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 17 played minutes ChosenFive FC got a freekick which was hit by Omar Gorbea. TALLERES DE CORDOBA's Justo Merexildo took a good shot, in the 18th minute, which hit the crossbar above Silverio Confesor's head, and flew over the goal. ChosenFive FC's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by TALLERES DE CORDOBA. TALLERES DE CORDOBA's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Justo Merexildo in the 22nd minute. After 23 minutes, Omar Gorbea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ChosenFive FC and the TALLERES DE CORDOBA players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 22 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for ChosenFive FC! Virgilio Gaitan came free with the goalkeeper in the 30th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Silvio Quintana could save by the left post. Silverio Confesor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pieter Colen, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. In the 36th minute Basilio Castulo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvio Quintana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silverio Confesor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nico Ottiger, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nico Ottiger in the 41st minute of play forced ChosenFive FC's goalkeeper Silverio Confesor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Basilio Castulo made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Diamantino Macedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silverio Confesor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, ChosenFive FC's Silverio Confesor got control of the ball when Diamantino Macedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. TALLERES DE CORDOBA's Silvio Quintana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basilio Castulo in the 61st minute of play. ChosenFive FC's Virgilio Gaitan got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Omar Gorbea got his second yellow card in the match during the 65th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to ChosenFive FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Omar Gorbea hit a great ball. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by ChosenFive FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Justo Merexildo was slow to take the kick. During this time TALLERES DE CORDOBA's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to TALLERES DE CORDOBA's Ismael Cresenciano getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After 74 played minutes ChosenFive FC got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Sabino. 76 minutes into the game, ChosenFive FC's Nemesio Salbatore nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silvio Quintana made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 79th minute, Lucas Bidari hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute, Marcelo Berto sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and TALLERES DE CORDOBA's Silvio Quintana didn't even have to move. If Diamantino Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Nico Ottiger kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Silverio Confesor. That made the score 1-3 in the 93 minute of play.
