Urbano Astigar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. After 32 played minutes Samborombón FC got a freekick which was hit by Astor Txerran. If Lucas Isusko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelo Iratze showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casimiro Jerardo in the 36th minute of the match. Casimiro Jerardo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcelo Iratze having to make a save. 44 minutes into the match, Lucas Isusko notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Samborombón FC's Marcelo Iratze. Marcelo Iratze was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

Urbano Astigar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Julio Santana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Lucas Isusko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Van Halen's supporters rose to their feet, but Lucas Isusko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelo Iratze breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Casimiro Jerardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Iratze having to interfere. Van Halen's Julio Santana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urbano Astigar in the 62nd minute of play. Felipe Hernandez scored 3-2 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Santana, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Julio Santana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urbano Astigar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 68 minutes into the match, Samborombón FC's goalkeeper Marcelo Iratze had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucas Isusko. The supporters of Van Halen booed when Samborombón FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Astor Txerran didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Anier Mede's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Santana was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Van Halen's Julio Santana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Hernandez in the 81st minute of play. After 83 minutes, Casimiro Jerardo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Van Halen and the Samborombón FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The Samborombón FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Van Halen had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
