Hipolito Aguirre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atilano Txurio in the 7th minute of the match. Atilano Txurio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th minute, Cesar Sandalio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The TEMPERLEY fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Eugenio Garin came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the TEMPERLEY fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eugenio Garin couldn't finish the play. 21 minutes into the game, Cesar Sandalio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Edgardo Vermudo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gregorio Llope made a great header on Guatimozín AFC's corner, it was just that TEMPERLEY's Hipolito Aguirre managed to reach the ball for a save. 1-2 became the score in the 28th minute when Atilano Txurio elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eugenio Garin in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edgardo Vermudo saved Guatimozín AFC from getting behind. Edgardo Vermudo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesar Sandalio in the 34th minute of the match. Marcos Rolado charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcos Rolado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 35 minutes into the game, one of Guatimozín AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Hipolito Aguirre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atilano Txurio in the 46th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The wind increased when Atilano Txurio made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Robustiano Cuartio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TEMPERLEY's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guatimozín AFC the free kick. A collision led to TEMPERLEY getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Robustiano Cuartio hit a great ball. If Cesar Sandalio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Guatimozín AFC's Dante Mino got a free kick in the 58th minute. Hipolito Aguirre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atilano Txurio in the 60th minute of the match. Edgardo Vermudo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eugenio Garin went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. The supporters of Guatimozín AFC booed when TEMPERLEY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgardo Afonso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st minute of the match Romulo Grabiel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hipolito Aguirre skillfully saved the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Generoso Columbo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hipolito Aguirre. TEMPERLEY's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Generoso Columbo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Edgardo Afonso's late challenge caught a Guatimozín AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgardo Afonso helped the player get up and apologised. Edgardo Afonso kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 80th match minute, TEMPERLEY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgardo Afonso to maneuver through the defense. Astor Manni hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. 86 minutes into the match, Atilano Txurio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hipolito Aguirre. TEMPERLEY's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Atilano Txurio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-4. After having played for 96 minutes, Generoso Columbo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guatimozín AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Generoso Columbo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. TEMPERLEY played a much better game than Guatimozín AFC and deserved their victory. The Guatimozín AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
