In the 75th minute Celso Gonsalvo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Fortun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Dep. Mandiyú's Aureliano Restu got a free kick in the 77th minute. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Horacio Franco sped through Dep. Mandiyú's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cipriano Dolcet. boca juniors's Vinicio Jacob was substituted for Valentin Mendez. The long shot by Ciro Chesus in the 84th minute really tested Leonides Fortun's skills.
