With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cipriano Dolcet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 12th minute of the game. One of Dep. Mandiyú:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Cieneguita:s goal. Venancio Frascuelo's late challenge caught a Cieneguita's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Venancio Frascuelo helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Cieneguita booed when Dep. Mandiyú was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Venancio Frascuelo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute there was a penalty for Cieneguita. Vicente Lesardo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cipriano Dolcet. 0-2. David Rioja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Honorato Matxin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Cipriano Dolcet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dep. Mandiyú's Cipriano Dolcet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Marz in the 30th minute of play. Cipriano Dolcet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Rioja, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celso Gonsalvo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute Honorato Matxin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cipriano Dolcet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute, David Rioja made a precise shot to the right of Cipriano Dolcet. Dep. Mandiyú's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 47th minute David Rioja shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cipriano Dolcet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Honorato Matxin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Dep. Mandiyú's zone, David Rioja stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cipriano Dolcet came out of the goal and David Rioja tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dep. Mandiyú's Cipriano Dolcet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Marz in the 60th minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, Guaberto Cefero was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dep. Mandiyú's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cieneguita the free kick. Guaberto Cefero kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. After 64 played minutes Dep. Mandiyú got a freekick which was hit by Aureliano Restu. After 70 minutes, Aureliano Restu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dep. Mandiyú and the Cieneguita players grew even worse after the yellow card. Honorato Matxin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Honorato Matxin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Cieneguita booed when Dep. When David Rioja came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Cieneguita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Rioja couldn't finish the play. 92 minutes into the match, Honorato Matxin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cipriano Dolcet, 0-5. 96 minutes into the match, Cieneguita's goal looked a bit too open when Adan Luix came free, but Octavio Tristan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Dep. Mandiyú fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cieneguita were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
