Tomás Perico started the match with the kick off. Sebastian Cutberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Ursino in the 3rd minute of play. Adolfo Tximitx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Cutberto having to interfere. 7 minutes into the match, Cebollitas's goal looked a bit too open when Tomás Perico came free, but Cristian Matteo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Cebollitas booed when Mailín AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Perico didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Cebollitas's Feliberto Shepherd got a free kick in the 13th minute. Fabio Velasco struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Sebastian Cutberto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cebollitas. The supporters of Mailín AFC booed when Cebollitas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro Dominic didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Juan Rico came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Cebollitas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Rico couldn't finish the play. After 23 minutes of play, Cebollitas's Adolfo Tximitx made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sebastian Cutberto was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Mailín AFC's Blas Ellande got a free kick in the 35th minute. Cebollitas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Rico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 41st minute Fabio Velasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Cutberto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Adolfo Tximitx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 46th minute, Tomás Perico got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adolfo Tximitx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Sebastian Cutberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Juan Rico to strike the kick off in the second half. Cristian Matteo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Joey, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Diego Ursino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Cutberto having to interfere. Sebastian Cutberto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Velasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adolfo Tximitx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Sebastian Cutberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juan Rico could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Sebastian Cutberto made a huge save. Damian Joey kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Fabio Velasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Sebastian Cutberto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Mailín AFC defense, Adolfo Tximitx kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebastian Cutberto. The Mailín AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebastian Cutberto should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolfo Tximitx in the 83rd minute of play forced Mailín AFC's goalkeeper Sebastian Cutberto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Mailín AFC's Hermengildo Sayveon got a free kick in the 84th minute. Juan Rico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Fabio Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximo Totakoxe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Cutberto having to interfere. Adolfo Tximitx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebastian Cutberto having to interfere. Cebollitas played a much better game than Mailín AFC and deserved their victory. The Mailín AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
