Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) psicosis's Cosme Hulberto started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee felt a red card was in order, 5 minutes into the game, when Adolfo Piearres put in a rough tackle. After a rather tough play, psicosis's Adolfo Piearres got a free kick in the 6th minute. With a little luck, psicosis's Melchor Lucila got control of the ball when Gogo Fanuco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Melchor Lucila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melchor Illan in the 16th minute of play. The supporters of Carranza AFC booed when psicosis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Nikola didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carranza AFC's Braulio Enaut pulled a muscle in his back after 23 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 23 minutes, Fermin Berdoi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the psicosis and the Carranza AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fermin Berdoi hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. A hard shot 25 in the game by Gogo Fanuco from a close distance when the talented Melchor Lucila managed to make a qualified save. psicosis's players were relieved. When Gogo Fanuco came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Carranza AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gogo Fanuco couldn't finish the play. Genaro Petri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melchor Lucila having to interfere. Gogo Fanuco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Melchor Lucila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gogo Fanuco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Melchor Lucila made a huge save. Cosme Hulberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Gogo Fanuco made the kick off in the second half. psicosis's Cosme Hulberto got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Gogo Fanuco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the game, Ladislao Edorta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. psicosis's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carranza AFC the free kick. After 57 played minutes psicosis got a freekick which was hit by Ladislao Edorta. Melchor Lucila made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gogo Fanuco in the 59th minute of play. Cosme Hulberto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 65 minutes into the match, Carranza AFC's goalkeeper Cesar Cordarryl had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cosme Hulberto. Genaro Petri's late challenge caught a psicosis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Genaro Petri helped the player get up and apologised. In the 69th minute, Atilano Pirmin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 72 minutes, Genaro Petri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carranza AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Genaro Petri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gogo Fanuco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melchor Lucila having to interfere. Genaro Petri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Melchor Lucila having to make a save. Carranza AFC's Melchor Illan got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 81 minutes into the match, psicosis's goal looked a bit too open when Gogo Fanuco came free, but Melchor Lucila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Carranza AFC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
