Felix Astudillo made in the 5th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Metrópolis City's Javier Jax. 7 minutes into the match, Metrópolis City's goal looked a bit too open when Hernan Breogan came free, but Jonatan Venerando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Lober City's goal looked a bit too open when Lisandro Dominguez came free, but Viggo Browall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Lober City booed when Metrópolis City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javier Jax didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the game, Lisandro Dominguez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Metrópolis City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lober City the free kick. After 11 played minutes Metrópolis City got a freekick which was hit by Lisandro Dominguez. Viggo Browall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernan Demario, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Metrópolis City's Jonatan Venerando proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Metrópolis City from getting a goal against them. Viggo Browall didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Filomeno Viator went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Metrópolis City's Jonatan Venerando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernan Breogan in the 30th minute of play. Lisandro Dominguez took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Viggo Browall. Viggo Browall dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Filomeno Viator fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viggo Browall having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Fernan Demario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Filomeno Viator to strike the kick off in the second half. Viggo Browall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filomeno Viator, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes into the match, Fernan Demario notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Lober City's Viggo Browall. Viggo Browall was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 61st minute Hernan Breogan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonatan Venerando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adan Abreu in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jonatan Venerando saved Metrópolis City from getting behind. With a little luck, Lober City's Viggo Browall got control of the ball when Lisandro Dominguez tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jonatan Venerando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernan Breogan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filomeno Viator in the 73rd minute of play forced Lober City's goalkeeper Viggo Browall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Lober City's goal looked a bit too open when Fernan Demario came free, but Viggo Browall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the game, Lisandro Dominguez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Viggo Browall. Lisandro Dominguez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Felix Astudillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Jonatan Venerando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Lober City's Adan Abreu, in the 88th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Lober City. 90 minutes into the match, Hernan Breogan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonatan Venerando. Metrópolis City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hernan Breogan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Although Lober City had been in control for most of the match, Metrópolis City still came away with the win.
