The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hipolito Obano during the 29th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gerardo Baristo to make the kick off. Pedro Maciel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Pedro Maciel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Remigio Walme. That made the score 0-4 in the 95 minute of play. The Boca Juniors fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Polvaredas were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
