The Cieneguita fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 23rd minute of the match Simon Elizardo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Saturnino Aztore skillfully saved the ball. Everardo Beliran's late challenge caught a Cieneguita's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Saturnino Aztore prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Genaro Gelacio got free with Saturnino Aztore in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 37th play minutes Genaro Gelacio shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Saturnino Aztore and just under the crossbar into goal.

Niceto Suero came out of the goal and Gogo Bartoleme tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Niceto Suero made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Gogo Bartoleme sent off a good shot on target. When Igor Cugat fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AFC Evolution's protests and gave Igor Cugat a yellow card for diving instead. AFC Evolution's Saturnino Aztore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Meder in the 86th minute of play. Gerardo Florian was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 92nd minute. AFC Evolution's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 93rd minute, Domingo Cordairo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bruno Meder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Cieneguita had won after a very even match.
