When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Santiago Orlin made a kick off. If Eleuterio Ibañez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Buenos Aires's Santo Hermon got a free kick in the 56th minute. Jacinto Txema took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgard Argi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santiago Orlin scored 5-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacinto Txema, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
