Alfonso Seguinus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wanderson Mendes in the 3rd minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, MeReNGue De DioS's goalkeeper Alfonso Seguinus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wanderson Mendes. After a defensive mix-up in MeReNGue De DioS's zone, Baldomero Nel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfonso Seguinus came out of the goal and Baldomero Nel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baldomero Nel was extremely unlucky when he, in the 10th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 11 minutes, Jonathan Lastur mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MeReNGue De DioS and the Vichigasta players grew even worse after the yellow card. Wanderson Mendes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfonso Seguinus having to make a save. A collision led to Vichigasta getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Cecilio Kismi hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the match, Eleuterio Dayam had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eloy Guillelmus. Vichigasta's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eleuterio Dayam was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Wanderson Mendes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Alfonso Seguinus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, MeReNGue De DioS's goalkeeper Alfonso Seguinus had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vladimiro Salvidor. Vichigasta's Wanderson Mendes got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 29th minute, Wanderson Mendes made a precise shot to the right of Alfonso Seguinus. MeReNGue De DioS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. With a little luck, MeReNGue De DioS's Alfonso Seguinus got control of the ball when Wanderson Mendes tried to sneak it across the goal line. 33 minutes in the game, Wanderson Mendes dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Cecilio Kismi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfonso Seguinus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wanderson Mendes in the 36th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Guillermo Ticho sped through Vichigasta's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Eloy Guillelmus. Alfonso Seguinus took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cecilio Kismi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, MeReNGue De DioS's Leonel Lidon got a free kick in the 46th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eleuterio Dayam to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Wanderson Mendes made a precise shot to the right of Alfonso Seguinus. MeReNGue De DioS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Maximo James took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alfonso Seguinus. MeReNGue De DioS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Wanderson Mendes struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Alfonso Seguinus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vichigasta. The supporters of Vichigasta booed when MeReNGue De DioS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Lidon didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Vichigasta's Wanderson Mendes in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Gaston Osoitz kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Vichigasta's Baldomero Nel couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 74th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for MeReNGue De DioS. In the 78th minute Wanderson Mendes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonso Seguinus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Vladimiro Salvidor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vichigasta's supporters rose to their feet, but Vladimiro Salvidor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfonso Seguinus breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vichigasta's Baldomero Nel suffered a sore thigh after 85 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Maximo James took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Alfonso Seguinus. MeReNGue De DioS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Wanderson Mendes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. MeReNGue De DioS's Alfonso Seguinus played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wanderson Mendes in the 96th minute of play. MeReNGue De DioS succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Vichigasta had controlled the match.
