After a rather tough play, Seco's Santiago Berasko got a free kick in the 17th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jairo Quiroga in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evelio Nahia saved Seco from getting behind. Seco's Evelio Nahia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Quiroga in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Telén FC's goalkeeper Abelardo Rojelio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Horacio Uxio. After some careless play in the Seco defense, Jairo Quiroga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Evelio Nahia. The Seco fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Evelio Nahia should have stopped the shot. After having played for 33 minutes, Jairo Quiroga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Telén FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jairo Quiroga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Seco's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo Quiroga came free, but Evelio Nahia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th minute, Jairo Quiroga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Evelio Nahia was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Horacio Uxio took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abelardo Rojelio. Abelardo Rojelio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The Seco players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Telén FC were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Jairo Quiroga made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Nicanor Modestio notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Telén FC's Abelardo Rojelio. Abelardo Rojelio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Seco's zone, Jairo Quiroga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evelio Nahia came out of the goal and Jairo Quiroga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Telén FC's Abelardo Rojelio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nemesio Arias in the 59th minute of play. Ismael Miliano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Evelio Nahia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
