The tension between the Belgrano Atletic Club and the Club Atletico Lagarrrtos players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Club Atletico Lagarrrtos booed when Belgrano Atletic Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Segundo Emmanuel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cecilio Aritza came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atletico Lagarrrtos's Oscar Patrido. But to his dismay, Oscar Patrido quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 11th minute of the match, Anton Sjödin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cecilio Aritza saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Arsenio Kiliz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eriberto Abascal in the 12th minute of the match. After 14 played minutes Club Atletico Lagarrrtos got a freekick which was hit by Erasmo Ortzi. Segundo Emmanuel, 15 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Cecilio Aritza was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Osvaldo Toro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 17 minute of play. With his leg Cecilio Aritza managed to avoid a goal in the 35thth minute, when Club Atletico Lagarrrtos's Oscar Patrido fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Cecilio Aritza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvaldo Toro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 38 played minutes Belgrano Atletic Club got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Elivareo. Anton Sjödin might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cecilio Aritza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anton Sjödin ran back to his position shaking his head. Cecilio Aritza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Toro in the 45th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 46 minutes, Cecilio Aritza successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Cecilio Aritza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anton Sjödin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anton Sjödin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Belgrano Atletic Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnoldo Hibai to maneuver through the defense. 56 minutes into the match, Belgrano Atletic Club's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Patrido came free, but Cecilio Aritza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Belgrano Atletic Club's Cecilio Aritza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldo Toro in the 73rd minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Belgrano Atletic Club's goal looked a bit too open when Anton Sjödin came free, but Cecilio Aritza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Belgrano Atletic Club getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Uriel Lluques hit a great ball. After 80 played minutes Club Atletico Lagarrrtos got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Patrido. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eriberto Abascal got free with Arsenio Kiliz in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 83 minutes of play, Club Atletico Lagarrrtos's Oscar Patrido made it 5-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cecilio Aritza was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Anton Sjödin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cecilio Aritza was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. In the 90th minute, Osvaldo Toro made a precise shot to the right of Cecilio Aritza. Belgrano Atletic Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Toro in the 94th minute of play forced Belgrano Atletic Club's goalkeeper Cecilio Aritza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
