Rodrigo Loren started the match with the kick off. Pink Sky FC's Silvano Iraitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Lamberto in the 8th minute of play. Basilio Manex kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. The supporters of Pink Sky FC booed when River Plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basilio Manex didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilberto Lamberto might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silvano Iraitz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gilberto Lamberto ran back to his position shaking his head. Quentin Andre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ovidio Itzaina in the 18th minute of play. When Paulino Claus came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Pink Sky FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulino Claus couldn't finish the play. Ferdinant Hendriks succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 22nd playminute. 28 minutes into the match, River Plate's goal looked a bit too open when Guillermo Baraquiel came free, but Quentin Andre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulino Claus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Quentin Andre made a huge save. The Pink Sky FC fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when Pink Sky FC's Ovidio Itzaina looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 33 minutes of play, Pink Sky FC's Guillermo Baraquiel made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Quentin Andre was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 36th minute, Guillermo Baraquiel made a precise shot to the right of Quentin Andre. River Plate's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. 39 minutes into the match, River Plate's Rodrigo Loren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silvano Iraitz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rodrigo Loren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silvano Iraitz having to make a save. Silvano Iraitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigo Loren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guillermo Baraquiel struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Quentin Andre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pink Sky FC. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 54th minute Ovidio Itzaina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quentin Andre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute, Gilberto Lamberto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. River Plate's Quentin Andre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferdinant Hendriks in the 58th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Pink Sky FC's Cristiano Freitas got a free kick in the 61st minute. Rodrigo Loren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvano Iraitz having to interfere. Pink Sky FC's Basilio Ariando was substituted for Jeronimo Brais. After 75 played minutes Pink Sky FC got a freekick which was hit by Ferdinant Hendriks. Basilio Manex struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Silvano Iraitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for River Plate. Quentin Andre showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferdinant Hendriks in the 82nd minute of the match. Ferdinant Hendriks struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Quentin Andre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pink Sky FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulino Claus in the 89th minute of play forced River Plate's goalkeeper Quentin Andre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the River Plate defense, Guillermo Baraquiel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Quentin Andre. The River Plate fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Quentin Andre should have stopped the shot. Quentin Andre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulino Claus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
