The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Igor Maura showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mauro Berart's late challenge caught a Nippur de Lagash FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mauro Berart helped the player get up and apologised. In the 6th match minute, Los Mismos De Siempre F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauro Berart to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute Paolo Darien shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Maura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute, Paolo Darien made a precise shot to the right of Igor Maura. Los Mismos De Siempre F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Nippur de Lagash FC's zone, Alfredo Urtsin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Melquiades Gregory came out of the goal and Alfredo Urtsin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Los Mismos De Siempre F.C's Robustiano Vincent got a free kick in the 17th minute. Igor Maura made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Dei in the 19th minute of play. Igor Maura came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Nippur de Lagash FC's Aaron Dei. But to his dismay, Aaron Dei quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 27th minute of the game. One of Los Mismos De Siempre F.C:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Nippur de Lagash FC:s goal. Igor Maura had in the 29thth minute some difficulties stopping Segundo Bilbo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Igor Maura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfredo Ilixo in the 30th minute of the match. Igor Maura didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paolo Darien went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. When Segundo Bilbo fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nippur de Lagash FC's protests and gave Segundo Bilbo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Nippur de Lagash FC's Segundo Bilbo got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Alfredo Urtsin kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aaron Dei made a kick off. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 59 minutes into the match, Los Mismos De Siempre F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Aaron Dei came free, but Igor Maura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Felix Larpe fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Mismos De Siempre F.C's protests and gave Felix Larpe a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Nippur de Lagash FC booed when Los Mismos De Siempre F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Larpe didn't get a good kick on the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Los Mismos De Siempre F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Aaron Dei came free, but Igor Maura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 75 minutes, Humberto Boni mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nippur de Lagash FC and the Los Mismos De Siempre F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 75 played minutes Nippur de Lagash FC got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Boni. In the 79th minute, Placido Medina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the match, Los Mismos De Siempre F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Paolo Darien came free, but Igor Maura reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilfredo Ilixo got free with Igor Maura in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Los Mismos De Siempre F.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Nippur de Lagash FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
