Amadeo Fresco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Claudio Piorno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Justino Elazar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claudio Piorno was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Almafuerte FC's Ladislao Medero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Higinio Lopes in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Delmar Nisio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 30 minutes, Justino Elazar made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Ariel del Plata's Claudio Piorno tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 35th minute, Amadeo Fresco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 38 minutes, Amadeo Fresco made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Ariel del Plata's Claudio Piorno tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Ariel del Plata getting a freekick after 49 minutes play. Delmar Nisio hit a great ball. Claudio Piorno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Fresco in the 50th minute of play. After the first half Almafuerte FC were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Justino Elazar to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Almafuerte FC's Amadeo Fresco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claudio Piorno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. If Justino Elazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amadeo Fresco struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Claudio Piorno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Almafuerte FC. The supporters of Almafuerte FC booed when Ariel del Plata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmar Nisio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 71 minutes, Justino Elazar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Almafuerte FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Justino Elazar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 76th match minute, Ariel del Plata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Feliberto Abaurre to maneuver through the defense. After 82 minutes, Zeledon Eguerdi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ariel del Plata and the Almafuerte FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 82 played minutes Ariel del Plata got a freekick which was hit by Zeledon Eguerdi. Esteban Lain's late challenge caught a Ariel del Plata's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Esteban Lain helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Almafuerte FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Esteban Lain hit a great ball. In the 90th minute, Amadeo Fresco reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Claudio Piorno. The goal made the score 0-7. In the 95th minute, Ariel del Plata's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Amadeo Fresco fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Thanks to some nice moves Amadeo Fresco could shoot a difficult shot in the 95th minute, which Claudio Piorno however easily saved by the left post. When the match was over Almafuerte FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ariel del Plata throughout the match.
