Sergio Eduino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcelo Arano kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eliseo Lizar in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bartolo Bernabel saved C.A.ROMAN from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Eduino in the 37th minute of play forced Boston Celtics's goalkeeper Mieszko Olender to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Boston Celtics booed when C.A.ROMAN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julian Thomas didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes in the game, Eliseo Lizar fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Bartolo Bernabel having to interfere. C.A.ROMAN's Bartolo Bernabel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save C.A.ROMAN from getting a goal against them. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Boston Celtics's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Paulo Faria scored to the left of an out of position Mieszko Olender, making the score, 1-2. 58 minutes into the game, Boston Celtics's Teo Uzuri nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bartolo Bernabel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Jacinto Natanael made in the 62nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Marcelo Arano. 65 minutes into the match, Eliseo Lizar notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of C.A.ROMAN's Bartolo Bernabel. Bartolo Bernabel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Boston Celtics booed when C.A.ROMAN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Faria didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the C.A.ROMAN defense, Teo Uzuri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bartolo Bernabel. The C.A.ROMAN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bartolo Bernabel should have stopped the shot. Bartolo Bernabel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Lizar in the 75th minute of play. In the 78th match minute, C.A.ROMAN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kazimierz Motyl to maneuver through the defense. When Paulo Faria came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the C.A.ROMAN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Faria couldn't finish the play. Bartolo Bernabel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teo Uzuri, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. With a little luck, Boston Celtics's Mieszko Olender got control of the ball when Kazimierz Motyl tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bernardo Stephen was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 90th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 92nd minute, Kazimierz Motyl left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C.A.ROMAN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-3. For all the effort they put into the match, the C.A.ROMAN players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Boston Celtics.
