The Nike F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tales Magalhães should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ariel Iratxo during the 5th minute. Tales Magalhães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Katia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tales Magalhães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristo Otsoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Nike F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Julio Viator came free, but Tales Magalhães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tales Magalhães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julio Viator in the 19th minute of the match. In the 20th minute Cristo Otsoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tales Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nike F.C's Tales Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Katia in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Arnoldo Rami fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Rudolf Nordgren, passed just outside the right post. Tales Magalhães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristo Otsoa, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Tales Magalhães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Azeari in the 30th minute of play. Cristo Otsoa's late challenge caught a Nike F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristo Otsoa helped the player get up and apologised. Jaime Katia scored 0-2 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tales Magalhães, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Quinteros were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jaime Katia to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Nike F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 武源志 to maneuver through the defense. Tales Magalhães showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julio Viator in the 54th minute of the match. Tales Magalhães came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Quinteros's Jaime Katia. But to his dismay, Jaime Katia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Quinteros's Julio Viator slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tales Magalhães. That made the score 0-4 after 59 minutes of play. 65 minutes into the match, Nike F.C's goalkeeper Tales Magalhães had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jaime Katia. Tales Magalhães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristo Otsoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 67th minute Julio Viator shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tales Magalhães saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute, Cristo Otsoa made a precise shot to the right of Tales Magalhães. Nike F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Nike F.C's Tales Magalhães proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Nike F.C from getting a goal against them. Rudolf Nordgren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnoldo Rami in the 77th minute of play. Nike F.C's Tales Magalhães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julio Viator in the 78th minute of play. Julio Viator recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Quinteros made a substitution. Delmar Frasquito replaced Delmar Lauaxeta. Cristo Otsoas short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Tales Magalhães to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Quinteros's Cristo Otsoa was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 88th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 92 minutes into the game, Jaime Katia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Tales Magalhães was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Nike F.C's Tales Magalhães got control of the ball when Jaime Katia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Jaime Katia could shoot a difficult shot in the 98th minute, which Tales Magalhães however easily saved by the left post. The Nike F.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Quinteros were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
