Amador Cebrian made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 19th minute Bartolo Lauro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amador Cebrian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Mendiolaza AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolo Lauro came free, but Amador Cebrian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Flamingos FC fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Flamingos FC's Bartolo Lauro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Flamingos FC booed when Mendiolaza AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teo Telmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amador Cebrian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ceferino Santos in the 35th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Mendiolaza AFC's zone, Bartolo Lauro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amador Cebrian came out of the goal and Bartolo Lauro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mendiolaza AFC's Amador Cebrian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudiu Berechet in the 45th minute of play. Anier Rozarius kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Isaias Gorka managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mendiolaza AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Isaias Gorka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Israel Nayely breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Bonifacio Txilar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. After 70 played minutes Flamingos FC got a freekick which was hit by Anacleto Ibar. After 71 played minutes, Mendiolaza AFC's Celestino Gimenez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Israel Nayely came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Mendiolaza AFC reached it. The audience thought a goal was coming when 白辉沙 got free with Amador Cebrian in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Amador Cebrian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ceferino Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute, Bonifacio Txilar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Israel Nayely was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4.
