The crowd rose to their feet as Eliseo Nuno kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hector Gabrio. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. Hector Gabrio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseo Nuno, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Bernal's Fausto Jeraldo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Roberto Roano in the 20 minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Eliseo Nuno kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Hector Gabrio. That made the score 2-0 in the 21 minute of play. When Denis Olayo came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Bernal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Denis Olayo couldn't finish the play. Eliseo Nuno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Lorenzo Miliano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Basilio Hurko to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Lagunillas AFC's Martin Unax sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jesus Bernad narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 64th minute, Fausto Jeraldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Eliseo Nuno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Denis Olayo came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Bernal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Denis Olayo couldn't finish the play. Hector Gabrio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Nuno in the 71st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Lorenzo Miliano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bernal's supporters rose to their feet, but Lorenzo Miliano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hector Gabrio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hector Gabrio came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Bernal's Eliseo Nuno. But to his dismay, Eliseo Nuno quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Hector Gabrio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseo Nuno in the 90th minute of play. Lorenzo Miliano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Lagunillas AFC's Jeremias Ihazintu got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Eliseo Nuno struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Hector Gabrio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bernal. Bernal's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
