Thanks to some nice moves Americo Bazil could shoot a difficult shot in the 17th minute, which Angel Clementi however easily saved by the left post. After having played for 18 minutes, Americo Bazil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fátima's supporters crossed their fingers, but Americo Bazil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Marcial Lucero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicasio Ihazintu was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Jeremias Pirro's late challenge caught a Palmo Maravilla FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Americo Bazil couldn't finish the play. After having played for 46 minutes, Marcial Lucero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Izydor Golaszewski managed to get in a good position for a shot. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcial Lucero was the one to do the kick off.
