After having played for 14 minutes, Marcial Lucero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Palmo Maravilla FC's Angel Clementi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Palmo Maravilla FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcial Lucero in the 43rd minute of play forced Wolframio F.C.'s goalkeeper Victorio Leobardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victorio Leobardo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcial Lucero's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcial Lucero to make the kick off. Marcial Luceros short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Victorio Leobardo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Victorio Leobardo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ulises Quinteros in the 58th minute. Adriana Cresencio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Angel Clementi. Palmo Maravilla FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Wolframio F.C.'s zone, Marcial Lucero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victorio Leobardo came out of the goal and Marcial Lucero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcial Lucero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Victorio Leobardo made a huge save. Wolframio F.C.'s Victorio Leobardo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Wolframio F.C. from getting a goal against them. Palmo Maravilla FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
