Marcial Lucero came free with the goalkeeper in the 13th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Sebastian Locaio could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcial Lucero in the 17th minute of play forced C.A. INDEPENDIENTE's goalkeeper Sebastian Locaio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th match minute, C.A. INDEPENDIENTE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Laurendi to maneuver through the defense. If David Eliu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 龙银云 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. David Eliu struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Angel Clementi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A. INDEPENDIENTE. Sebastian Locaio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulises Quinteros in the 29th minute of the match. Ulises Quinteros's late challenge caught a C.A. INDEPENDIENTE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulises Quinteros helped the player get up and apologised. Jorge Laurendi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Clementi having to interfere. Sebastian Locaio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marcial Lucero went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

After having played for 59 minutes, David Eliu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A. INDEPENDIENTE's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Eliu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Palmo Maravilla FC booed when C.A. INDEPENDIENTE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. 龙银云 didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the C.A. INDEPENDIENTE defense, Ulises Quinteros kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sebastian Locaio. The C.A. INDEPENDIENTE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sebastian Locaio should have stopped the shot. C.A. INDEPENDIENTE's Sebastian Locaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Lucero in the 68th minute of play. 龙银云 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Palmo Maravilla FC's Angel Clementi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 龙银云 in the 71st minute of play. Sebastian Locaio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcial Lucero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Palmo Maravilla FC's goalkeeper Angel Clementi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Ulises Quinteros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palmo Maravilla FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulises Quinteros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastian Locaio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. C.A. INDEPENDIENTE's Sebastian Locaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Lucero in the 78th minute of play. Jorge Laurendi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Angel Clementi made a huge save. 龙银云 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angel Clementi having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Izydor Golaszewski during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 83 played minutes Palmo Maravilla FC got a freekick which was hit by Izydor Golaszewski. David Eliu kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. When Leonides Eztebe fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palmo Maravilla FC's protests and gave Leonides Eztebe a yellow card for diving instead. After 86 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Palmo Maravilla FC! In the 93rd minute, David Eliu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luisito Illart blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sebastian Locaio having to make a save. Sebastian Locaio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcial Lucero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
