SOURDEAUX KM30's Luiz Fernando Marques played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciriaco Eutropio in the 3rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Wilfredo Feo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luiz Fernando Marques was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. The referee felt a red card was in order, 13 minutes into the game, when Erasmo Urki put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Brete fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 12th minute. Penalty! Domingos Umbruso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmar Cavenaghi in the 20th minute of the match. Ciriaco Eutropio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Luiz Fernando Marques tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmar Cavenaghi in the 27th minute of play forced Brete's goalkeeper Domingos Umbruso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute of the match Wilfredo Feo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luiz Fernando Marques showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Teofilo Fiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Umbruso having to interfere. Domingos Umbruso made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Sergio Luar sent off a good shot on target. Domingos Umbruso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmar Cavenaghi in the 36th minute of play. Brete's Domingos Umbruso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofilo Fiz in the 37th minute of play. If Cristobal Henric had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domingos Umbruso made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sergio Luar in the 43rd minute. Maximino Madeo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fernando Marques having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Sergio Luar made the kick off in the second half. Delmar Cavenaghi scored 2-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Domingos Umbruso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A hard shot 62 in the game by Maximino Madeo from a close distance when the talented Luiz Fernando Marques managed to make a qualified save. SOURDEAUX KM30's players were relieved. Luiz Fernando Marques came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Brete's Ciriaco Eutropio. But to his dismay, Ciriaco Eutropio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 68th minute Sergio Luar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Umbruso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 70 minutes of play, SOURDEAUX KM30's Delmar Cavenaghi made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Domingos Umbruso was left in no man's land by his defense there! Brete's Ciriaco Eutropio got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 77th minute Sergio Luar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingos Umbruso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in SOURDEAUX KM30's zone, Ciriaco Eutropio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luiz Fernando Marques came out of the goal and Ciriaco Eutropio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 84 minutes into the match, Maximino Madeo notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of SOURDEAUX KM30's Luiz Fernando Marques. Luiz Fernando Marques was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cristobal Henric hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. When Gavino Cordera came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Brete fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gavino Cordera couldn't finish the play. 97 minutes into the match, Brete's goal looked a bit too open when Teofilo Fiz came free, but Domingos Umbruso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Brete players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SOURDEAUX KM30.
