Club Deportivo Sánchez's Edelmiro Abastas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olgierd Chludzinski in the 10th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Club Deportivo Sánchez's zone, Imeda Mingrelsky stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edelmiro Abastas came out of the goal and Imeda Mingrelsky tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Olgierd Chludzinski struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Edelmiro Abastas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tocineros. Tocineros were furious when Roland Adriaens was red carded, 26 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 26th match minute, Tocineros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roland Adriaens to maneuver through the defense. Eriberto Maldonado didn't quite understand what happened when in the 28 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. After 29 minutes, Olgierd Chludzinski made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Club Deportivo Sánchez's Edelmiro Abastas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 36 minutes, Olgierd Chludzinski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tocineros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olgierd Chludzinski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 38th minute, Carlos Pero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edelmiro Abastas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olgierd Chludzinski in the 45th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Sigvard Östlund made the kick off in the second half. Tocineros's Danilo Quinteros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Chesus in the 51st minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Aristides Abeitia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Danilo Quinteros. Tocineros's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aristides Abeitia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Olgierd Chludzinski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Imeda Mingrelsky kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. It was beautiful to see Club Deportivo Sánchez's Anthon Nilsson in action when he in the 64th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Olgierd Chludzinski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Edelmiro Abastas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sigvard Östlund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Generoso Viator's late challenge caught a Tocineros's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Generoso Viator helped the player get up and apologised. In the 83rd match minute, Club Deportivo Sánchez was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Generoso Viator to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Tocineros's Carlos Pero got a free kick in the 86th minute. When the final whistle went the supporters of Tocineros were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Club Deportivo Sánchez side.
