Melquiades Clementi came out of the goal and Eliseo Jurdan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Melquiades Clementi came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Jacarandá's Danilo Louis. But to his dismay, Danilo Louis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Niceto Cordarell kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Silverio Sayvion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melquiades Clementi having to interfere. If Silverio Sayvion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Danilo Louis was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 22 minutes into the match. If Silverio Sayvion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vicente Lidon got free with Candido Furtado in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Melquiades Clementi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silverio Sayvion went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hernan Acosta to make the kick off. In the 55thth minute of the game Robustiano Hotz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Balsa's Melquiades Clementi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Silverio Sayvion managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Jacarandá's supporters rose to their feet, but Silverio Sayvion was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melquiades Clementi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Balsa defense, Silverio Sayvion kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Melquiades Clementi. The Balsa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Melquiades Clementi should have stopped the shot. Silverio Sayvion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Melquiades Clementi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eliseo Jurdan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Silverio Sayvion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Deportivo Jacarandá booed when Balsa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hernan Acosta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eliseo Jurdan kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Candido Furtado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Lidon in the 90th minute of the match. Robustiano Hotz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Melquiades Clementi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Silverio Sayvion got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 94thth minute of the game Hugo Jakue who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Balsa's Melquiades Clementi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Silverio Sayvion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deportivo Jacarandá played a much better game than Balsa and deserved their victory. The Balsa players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
