A hard shot 6 in the game by Joel Gergori from a close distance when the talented Esteve Jerrold managed to make a qualified save. Matadores FC's players were relieved. If Joel Gergori had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benigno Tiniebra was extremely unlucky when he, in the 9th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. 15 minutes into the game, Rosquin FC's Joel Gergori nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Esteve Jerrold made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Rioja in the 18th minute of play forced Rosquin FC's goalkeeper Abel Marin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Gergori recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Matadores FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 27th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Esteve Jerrold, was totally fooled by Rosquin FC's Joel Gergori, who 28 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 35th minute, Fernando Rioja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 36th minute, Joel Gergori got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 39 minutes into the match, Rosquin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Joanes came free, but Abel Marin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abel Marin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Joanes in the 41st minute of the match. With a little luck, Matadores FC's Esteve Jerrold got control of the ball when Joel Gergori tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benigno Tiniebra struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Esteve Jerrold didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rosquin FC. Rosquin FC's Joel Gergori got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rosquin FC's Prospero Lucero was substituted for Joel Gergori. Rosquin FC's Florentino Arias was substituted for Cecilio Sanduru. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

With a little luck, Rosquin FC's Abel Marin got control of the ball when Leonel Galsino tried to sneak it across the goal line. Abel Marin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Joanes, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. The audience was convinced that Prospero Lucero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Esteve Jerrold was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Prospero Lucero struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Esteve Jerrold didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rosquin FC. 73 minutes into the match, Prospero Lucero notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Matadores FC's Esteve Jerrold. Esteve Jerrold was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Prospero Lucero put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Esteve Jerrold. If Prospero Lucero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benigno Tiniebra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Esteve Jerrold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benigno Tiniebra in the 89th minute of play. Leonel Galsino's late challenge caught a Rosquin FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonel Galsino helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Rosquin FC booed when Matadores FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Galsino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rosquin FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
