Sverker Hallgren hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. A collision led to SUGUS getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Bernardino Horado hit a great ball. 17 minutes into the game, Leonel Mingo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Porvenir's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SUGUS the free kick. After a rather tough play, El Porvenir's Leonel Mingo got a free kick in the 17th minute. With a little luck, El Porvenir's Esteban Curcio got control of the ball when Daniel Ruisko tried to sneak it across the goal line. 25 minutes into the game, Teodosio Ayala recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Esteban Curcio. Teodosio Ayala showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 31 minutes into the match, SUGUS's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Matia came free, but Alexandre Bessa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jacinto Mincho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esteban Curcio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teodosio Ayala in the 37th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Elias Matia to strike the kick off in the second half. SUGUS's Daniel Ruisko got a good chance for a goal in the 50th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Teodosio Ayala came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the SUGUS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodosio Ayala couldn't finish the play. El Porvenir's Esteban Curcio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Ruisko in the 64th minute of play. When Leonel Mingo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 66 minutes had been played. Esteban Curcio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodosio Ayala, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. SUGUS's Alexandre Bessa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save SUGUS from getting a goal against them. Teodosio Ayala struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Esteban Curcio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SUGUS. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saverio Weather in the 80th minute of play forced El Porvenir's goalkeeper Esteban Curcio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacinto Mincho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esteban Curcio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Ruisko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. El Porvenir's Esteban Curcio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodosio Ayala in the 85th minute of play. After some careless play in the El Porvenir defense, Jacinto Mincho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Esteban Curcio. The El Porvenir fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Esteban Curcio should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the SUGUS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
