With a little luck, Marcelo Bielsa's Isidro Eskuin got control of the ball when Roman Gutierrez tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 28th minute Alejandro Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Ciano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 47 minutes, Benicio Dolfo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Marcelo Bielsa and the Atl. Tucuman players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 47th match minute, Marcelo Bielsa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benicio Dolfo to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 76th match minute, Marcelo Bielsa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iker Urko to maneuver through the defense. 77 minutes into the game, Jesus Obano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. When Roman Gutierrez came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Atl. Tucuman fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roman Gutierrez couldn't finish the play. Tucuman's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
