Spectators: 5020 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 20) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Eduardo Cedro got the match started through his kick off. Hugo Behe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ambrosio Garin having to interfere. Brendan Leydin hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 8th minute, Aldo Pirro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 10 minutes of play, Rayo Platense's Elpidio Tartalo made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ambrosio Garin was left in no man's land by his defense there! Elpidio Tartalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Ambrosio Garin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 18 minutes, Alejandro Valentine managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rayo Platense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alejandro Valentine was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Predator Absolute's zone, Elpidio Tartalo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ambrosio Garin came out of the goal and Elpidio Tartalo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 25 minutes into the game, Narciso Argi threw the ball into play from the sideline. Rayo Platense's Fabricio Veto quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 26 minutes into the game, Aldo Pirro threw the ball into play from the sideline. Predator Absolute's Lucho Acevedo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Alejandro Valentine struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Ambrosio Garin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rayo Platense. Predator Absolute's Ambrosio Garin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elpidio Tartalo in the 41st minute of play. Ambrosio Garin came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Rayo Platense's Elpidio Tartalo. But to his dismay, Elpidio Tartalo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elpidio Tartalo in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ambrosio Garin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Elpidio Tartalos short, quick shot in the 47thth minute got Ambrosio Garin to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

If Elpidio Tartalo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roberto Viator's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ambrosio Garin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. If Alejandro Valentine had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 70th minute, Ciriaco Victoro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eduardo Cedro might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Blas Huly. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eduardo Cedro ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Rayo Platense's zone, Eduardo Cedro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blas Huly came out of the goal and Eduardo Cedro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 78 minutes, Brendan Leydin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Predator Absolute and the Rayo Platense players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 79th match minute, Predator Absolute was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brendan Leydin to maneuver through the defense. When Rayo Platense's Elpidio Tartalo in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Predator Absolute's goalie prevented a goal. Ambrosio Garin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elpidio Tartalo in the 82nd minute of play. In the 84th minute Elpidio Tartalo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ambrosio Garin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Rayo Platense booed when Predator Absolute was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucho Acevedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ambrosio Garin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Behe, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When the referee ended the match the Rayo Platense players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
