Calabacillas's Marcial Tirso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateo Chan in the 22nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Mateo Chan put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Marcial Tirso. Marcial Tirso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Petre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Calabacillas walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
