The audience thought a goal was coming when Alonzo Kepa got free with Desiderio Llorian in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alonzo Kepa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Desiderio Llorian when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 13th minute of the match, Denis Presebal tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Desiderio Llorian saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 17 minutes into the game, Pedermar's Alonzo Kepa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Desiderio Llorian made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Retamito's defense didn't have a chance, in the 20th minute, when Denis Presebal scored to the left of an out of position Desiderio Llorian, making the score, 2-0. 23 minutes into the match, Arnaldo Cheche notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Retamito's Desiderio Llorian. Desiderio Llorian was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 27 minutes into the match, Retamito's goalkeeper Desiderio Llorian had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alonzo Kepa. With an all-out effort, Pedermar's Desiderio Llorian threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Arnaldo Cheche, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Pedermar booed when Retamito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roman Medardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Desiderio Llorian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alonzo Kepa in the 37th minute. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Retamito's goalkeeper Desiderio Llorian, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mariano Errando could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Desiderio Llorian made a huge save. If Arnaldo Cheche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee felt a red card was in order, 45 minutes into the game, when Samuel Venceslas put in a rough tackle. Samuel Venceslas hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Desiderio Llorian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnaldo Cheche in the 48th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gervasio Cuarto was the one to do the kick off. In the 89th minute Alonzo Kepa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Desiderio Llorian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Cheche in the 90th minute of play forced Retamito's goalkeeper Desiderio Llorian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Pedermar fully deserved thier win.
