The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Roque Loco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Primitivo Vimaro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Primitivo Vimaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santo Bartoli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Cerrillos AFC defense, João Augusto Sabóia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Baldomero Presebal. The Cerrillos AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Baldomero Presebal should have stopped the shot. 28 minutes into the match, Cerrillos AFC's goalkeeper Baldomero Presebal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cosme Maurin. Baldomero Presebal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosme Maurin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Augusto Sabóia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Baldomero Presebal made a huge save. João Augusto Sabóia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Baldomero Presebal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cosme Maurin in the 35th minute of play forced Cerrillos AFC's goalkeeper Baldomero Presebal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cerrillos AFC's Baldomero Presebal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosme Maurin in the 37th minute of play. João Augusto Sabóia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Baldomero Presebal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If João Augusto Sabóia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cosme Maurin to make the kick off. Milan FC's Primitivo Vimaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Milan FC from getting a goal against them. In the 54th match minute, Milan FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfonso Vergaray to maneuver through the defense. Baldomero Presebal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Augusto Sabóia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the match, João Augusto Sabóia notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Cerrillos AFC's Baldomero Presebal. Baldomero Presebal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Milan FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Augusto Sabóia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Primitivo Vimaro came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Cerrillos AFC's Roque Loco. But to his dismay, Roque Loco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Milan FC's Vicente Emeterio was substituted for Justino Amaya. After a rather tough play, Milan FC's Justs Aunelis got a free kick in the 99th minute. Milan FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Cerrillos AFC to leave the ground with a draw.
