After some careless play in the Guillermina defense, Victor Romildo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Severino Amor. The Guillermina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Severino Amor should have stopped the shot. In the 14th minute Domingo Dodorol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Amor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 19th play minutes Domingo Dodorol shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Severino Amor and just under the crossbar into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingo Dodorol in the 22nd minute of play forced Guillermina's goalkeeper Severino Amor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Domingo Dodorol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 38th minute, Domingo Dodorol fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Severino Amor, passed just outside the right post. With his leg Severino Amor managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when La Chispa Loca's Victor Romildo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Victor Romildo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Amor having to interfere. Jaime Cisco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vladimir Akinfeev read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Victor Romildo struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Severino Amor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Chispa Loca.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Domingo Dodorol to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Domingo Dodorol managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Chispa Loca's supporters rose to their feet, but Domingo Dodorol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Severino Amor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Gabriel Argider's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vladimir Akinfeev was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Benedicto Marcones kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. If Domingo Dodorol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. Severino Amor was left in no man's land by his defense there! Domingo Dodorol struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Severino Amor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Chispa Loca. Domingo Dodorol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute, Adrian Behe sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and La Chispa Loca's Vladimir Akinfeev didn't even have to move. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. La Chispa Loca had played much better football throughout.
