Vladimiro Jurgi succeeded in the game's 23rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. If Constantino Beturian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dalmacio Ponc scored 0-2 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Boleslaw Zbydniowski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The crowd rose to their feet as Club Alberdi's Benigno Eriz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Esteban Monte. That made the score 1-2 after 33 minutes of play. Conrado Richie was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 36th minute. Club Alberdi's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When Vladimiro Jurgi fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Quetrequile's protests and gave Vladimiro Jurgi a yellow card for diving instead. Esteban Monte was a little too slow when Benigno Eriz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 2-2. Bernardino Aritza kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Club Alberdi's Armando Faso tried to score from far away in the 49th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dalmacio Ponc was the one to do the kick off. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Quetrequile's Dalmacio Ponc in the 54th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Boleslaw Zbydniowski was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Club Alberdi through an amazing save. If Benigno Eriz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Alberdi's goalkeeper Boleslaw Zbydniowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Constantino Beturian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boleslaw Zbydniowski having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
