In the 31st minute Leopoldo Gabirel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Berart saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 33 minutes of play, Minacar's Tadeo Telo made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. CuervosDelSur's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Mateus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucas George in the 55th minute of play forced Minacar's goalkeeper Marcelo Colorado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute Lucas George shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Colorado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Minacar defense, Lucas George kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelo Colorado. The Minacar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelo Colorado should have stopped the shot. Lucas George received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Marcelo Colorado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tadeo Telo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nicolas Berart came out and tried to block the shot, but Tadeo Telo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-5 in the 71st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leopoldo Gabirel during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the match was over Minacar could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than CuervosDelSur throughout the match.
