Fabio Misael charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fabio Misael the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aaron Estebano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raul Galindo, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Everardo Mikeldi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Rufo in the 22nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baturhan Totuk got free with Aaron Estebano in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fabio Misael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Humberto Rufo fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ensenada FC's protests and gave Humberto Rufo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ensenada FC's Humberto Rufo got a free kick in the 44th minute. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Raul Galindo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Raul Galindo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Raul Galindo came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Faltan 5p fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raul Galindo couldn't finish the play. In the 56th minute Narciso Cordario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Estebano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabio Misael recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Humberto Rufo took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Everardo Mikeldi to make any attempt to save it. Aaron Estebano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raul Galindo, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Narciso Cordario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aaron Estebano having to interfere. Humberto Rufo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Everardo Mikeldi having to interfere. Raul Galindo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aaron Estebano having to interfere. Aaron Estebano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raul Galindo went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Narciso Cordario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Aaron Estebano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Raul Galindo might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aaron Estebano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Raul Galindo ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 96th minute, Fabio Misael got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Faltan 5p were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
