After a rather tough play, Faltan 5p's Narciso Cordario got a free kick in the 39th minute. When Everardo Rosio came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Riquelme es el 10 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Everardo Rosio couldn't finish the play. Everardo Rosio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raul Galindo to make the kick off. Everardo Mikeldi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Everardo Rosio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute, Everardo Rosio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Everardo Mikeldi was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raul Galindo got free with Gualterio Salvator in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 84th match minute, Faltan 5p was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabricio Eleazar to maneuver through the defense. After 84 played minutes, Riquelme es el 10's Gervasio Umea shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Everardo Mikeldi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Emiliano Hodei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gervasio Umea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Riquelme es el 10 fans cheered their team off the field, for while Faltan 5p had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
