Niceto Pirro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaston Hechter having to interfere. If Americo Iyan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simon Eztebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rogelio Gurutz during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ciro Abalos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ulises Guifres short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Ciro Abalos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 31 played minutes Hey Ho Let´s Go got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Ticho. In the 34th minute, Ulises Guifre ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ciro Abalos was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Ulises Guifre who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Ciro Abalos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 42nd minute of the match Rogelio Gurutz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gaston Hechter showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

If Ulises Guifre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 54 minutes into the match, Hey Ho Let´s Go's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Eztebe came free, but Ciro Abalos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ulises Guifre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciro Abalos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ulises Guifre went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. After 63 played minutes Puelén got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Gaueko. Gaston Hechter made an important save on a dangerous shot by Primitivo Lorenz in the 68th minute. In the 69th minute, Americo Iyan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Niceto Pirro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Gaston Hechter made a huge save. Simon Eztebe took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ciro Abalos. Ciro Abalos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Ulises Guifre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Ciro Abalos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gerardo Innocenzio charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gerardo Innocenzio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Puelén getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Gerardo Innocenzio hit a great ball. After having played for 89 minutes, Filomeno Naldo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hey Ho Let´s Go's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filomeno Naldo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Simon Eztebe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Abalos having to interfere. Puelén's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
