Geronimo Christobal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 11th match minute, GAMBETA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Urdaspal to maneuver through the defense. Armando Oinatz, 12 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. GAMBETA FC's Raimundo Ariando proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save GAMBETA FC from getting a goal against them. Juan Eli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 19 minutes into the match, GAMBETA FC's goalkeeper Raimundo Ariando had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo Hever. Paulo Hever sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Paulo Hever had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 43 played minutes GAMBETA FC got a freekick which was hit by Domingos Vellito.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Juan Eli was the one to do the kick off. After 54 played minutes GAMBETA FC got a freekick which was hit by Geronimo Christobal. Paulo Hever fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Ariando having to interfere. Raimundo Ariando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Eli in the 92nd minute of play. Juan Eli's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raimundo Ariando read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. The GAMBETA FC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented La Bruja from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
