Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Famatanca's Gustavo Urtungo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Famatanca getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Gaston Gasteiz hit a great ball. 4 minutes into the match, Famatanca's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Dominguez came free, but Constantino Kepa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Famatanca's goalkeeper Constantino Kepa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Patricio Sustrai. Fabian Christobal's late challenge caught a Famatanca's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabian Christobal helped the player get up and apologised. Fabian Christobal kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Gustavo Urtungo took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ruperto Huly. Ruperto Huly dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patricio Sustrai got free with Constantino Kepa in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Honorio Clodio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 22 minutes into the game, Famatanca's Honorio Clodio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ruperto Huly made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Fabian Christobal was shown his second yellow card after 29 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Fabian Christobal hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After having played for 31 minutes, Gustavo Urtungo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Famatanca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustavo Urtungo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 32nd minute, Honorio Clodio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Famatanca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Vinicio Eutor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Constantino Kepa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th match minute, Famatanca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeo Arce to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 42 minutes, Vinicio Eutor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tandil FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vinicio Eutor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 45 played minutes Famatanca got a freekick which was hit by Gaston Gasteiz. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Omar Sandaili stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Constantino Kepa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Sandaili, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute, Tadeo Arce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 57 minutes of play, Tandil FC's Vinicio Eutor made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Constantino Kepa was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Omar Sandaili came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Tandil FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Omar Sandaili couldn't finish the play. Vinicio Eutor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantino Kepa having to interfere. Patricio Sustrai got a throw-in 70 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Omar Sandaili. In the 71st match minute, Famatanca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arturo Velasco to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes into the match, Famatanca's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Sandaili came free, but Constantino Kepa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Honorio Clodio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ruperto Huly showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Urtungo in the 82nd minute of the match. Gustavo Urtungo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 85 minutes, Tadeo Arce managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Famatanca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tadeo Arce was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Patricio Sustrai made in the 92nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Gabriel Dominguez immediately put the ball in play. The Famatanca supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Famatanca would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
