When Constantino Belo came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Alumbrera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Constantino Belo couldn't finish the play. In the 13th minute Simon Ongile shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernan Illan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Simon Ongile received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Hernan Illan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simon Ongile scored 0-2 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hernan Illan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Modesto Ferman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Maldonado, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Maldonado in the 81st minute of play forced Alumbrera's goalkeeper Modesto Ferman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alumbrera's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
