The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Cayetano Paskal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Murphy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Adrian Chirita didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 14th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. In the 20th minute of the match Zacarias Telo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nelson Meirelles showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpected shot in the 21st minute by Carlos Macario got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Carlos Macario charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carlos Macario the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Murphy booed when Davadia Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Macario didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nelson Meirelles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honorio Peyo, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Adrian Chirita made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Augusto Honrio sent off a good shot on target. 30 minutes into the match, Augusto Honrio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Adrian Chirita, 2-1. If Augusto Honrio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the match, Davadia Team's goal looked a bit too open when Honorio Peyo came free, but Nelson Meirelles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th match minute, Murphy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albano Corderun to maneuver through the defense. Adrian Chirita made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomás Terciero in the 41st minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claudio Ralondo to strike the kick off in the second half. Carlos Macario recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Carlos Macario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adrian Chirita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Terciero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Murphy's Honorio Peyo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nelson Meirelles. That made the score 3-2 after 66 minutes of play. After 71 minutes, Augusto Honrio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Davadia Team and the Murphy players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 71st minute, Augusto Honrio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute Tomás Terciero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Chirita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Cesar Adrio fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Davadia Team's protests and gave Cesar Adrio a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Davadia Team getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Cesar Adrio hit a great ball. After 81 played minutes Davadia Team got a freekick which was hit by Asdi Suwandi. Benedicto Gimenez kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claudio Ralondo in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nelson Meirelles saved Davadia Team from getting behind. In the 88th minute Carlos Macario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adrian Chirita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Augusto Honrio made in the 93rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Arsenio Inge however managed to control. 95 minutes into the match, Davadia Team's goalkeeper Nelson Meirelles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudio Ralondo. Albano Corderun hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Davadia Team walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
