In the 38th match minute, Pilar AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Modesto Marino to maneuver through the defense. Panos Balomenoss short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Astor Elia to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After the first half Pilar AFC were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fausto Eguen was the one to do the kick off. Mateo Calisto ran back to his position shaking his head. Modesto Marino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Adan Eleazar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adan Eleazar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomero Celio, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. A long shot from Oscar Gilesindo in the 85th minute of play was well struck, but Adan Eleazar made a really good save at the right post.
