Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) San Lorenzo de Almagro's Erasmo James started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Honorio Cordareo kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. When Aldo Mannie fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Lorenzo de Almagro's protests and gave Aldo Mannie a yellow card for diving instead. After 4 played minutes San Lorenzo de Almagro got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Mannie. Aldo Mannie was shown his second yellow card after 6 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Calafate booed when San Lorenzo de Almagro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aldo Mannie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dalmacio Roldanillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Placido Milio in the 9th minute of play. When Nicanor Suarez came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Calafate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicanor Suarez couldn't finish the play. With 14 minutes on the clock, Wilfredo Odon commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The score was 1-0 after a penalty in the 16th minute, where Calafate:s Luisito Peruxu tricked San Lorenzo de Almagro:s Dalmacio Roldanillo with a difficult ball by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Placido Milio in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dalmacio Roldanillo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Omar Enetz might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcelino Mincho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Omar Enetz ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 22nd match minute, San Lorenzo de Almagro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cayetano Maureo to maneuver through the defense. Placido Milio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dalmacio Roldanillo having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in San Lorenzo de Almagro's zone, Nicanor Suarez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dalmacio Roldanillo came out of the goal and Nicanor Suarez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicanor Suarez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dalmacio Roldanillo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Placido Milio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in San Lorenzo de Almagro's zone, Nicanor Suarez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dalmacio Roldanillo came out of the goal and Nicanor Suarez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpected shot in the 39th minute by Nicanor Suarez got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Placido Milio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Dalmacio Roldanillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Omar Enetz kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Dalmacio Roldanillo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicanor Suarez in the 43rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicanor Suarez got free with Dalmacio Roldanillo in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 49 minutes into the game, Calafate's Genaro Fidensio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dalmacio Roldanillo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Placido Milio made a kick off. In the 56th minute, Erasmo James got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dalmacio Roldanillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicanor Suarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicanor Suarez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Dalmacio Roldanillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cayetano Maureo hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Placido Milio in the 72nd minute of play forced San Lorenzo de Almagro's goalkeeper Dalmacio Roldanillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, Genaro Fidensio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Placido Milio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Dalmacio Roldanillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dalmacio Roldanillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicanor Suarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Placido Milio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Placido Milio in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dalmacio Roldanillo saved San Lorenzo de Almagro from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in San Lorenzo de Almagro's zone, Placido Milio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dalmacio Roldanillo came out of the goal and Placido Milio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Calafate's Nicanor Suarez got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Placido Milio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmacio Roldanillo having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Calafate fully deserved thier win.
